The Best of Brews will be hosting and authentic "Octoberfest" event Saturday October 20, 2012. The event will be held on the "Green" in Duluth (the city park behind Main Street). Gates will open at 10:00am for VIP ticket holders with a ceremonial taping of an Oktoberfest Cask at
10:30am. The gate opens to the General public at 11:00am and will close at 10:30pm. There will be three German Beer Gardens/Tents representing six different brewers for all of your German and Oktoberfest style beers. Two food tents will be available for your lunch and dinner, serving an array of German style meals. All day long German style Bands, Dancers and Singers will perform on the festival stage.
Oktoberfest style activities are planned to challenge you all day long and provide entertainment and fun for all attendees. 21 and above to enter the event, ID's required. General Admission is $10 and VIP Admission is $25. The VIP ticket includes early entry, tapping of and draining of the cask, 1/2 liter beer stein, discounts on beer all day long.
